Michael Cofflin Jr.
I oversee these UBC Job Corps programs:
Angell, Columbia Basin, Curlew, Fort Simcoe, Timber Lake, Tongue Point and Wolf Creek
I've been with the UBC Job Corps since:
2023
Previously, I was a UBC Job Corps Instructor at:
Timber Lake
Before I started teaching at the UBC Job Corps, my work in the field included:
Lead man, foreman, and an organizer on the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters
The best/most interestingthing about my job is:
Getting the opportunity to pass on the knowledge and skills I've learned over the years to the next generation of carpenters. I love every minute of it!
My favorite things to do when not working include:
Family time, hunting, and getting involved with helping out the community where I live
A little more to know about me or a favorite quote I'd like my prospective students to know:
"What you do today can improve all of your tomorrows." - Ralph Marston
My UBC Job Corps experience as a student:
I didn't go to Job Corps when I was younger, mainly because I didn't know about it. I definitely would have.
